Nude by Nature | Flawless Brush & Radiant Loose Powder Foundation |
Nude by Nature | Flawless Brush ($24 CAD):
Nude by Nature offers a full collection of synthetic, cruelty-free makeup brushes and I got here the Flawless Brush. Designed for use with all powder products, the brush has a large, dome-shaped head that's dense yet fluffy. The shorter handle makes it travel-friendly and easy to hold and the brush works really well at applying loose powders. Given the reasonable price, I'm super impressed by how soft the bristles are and how luxurious and polished the handle feels.
Nude by Nature | Radiant Loose Powder Foundation in "W2 Ivory" ($32 CAD for 10 g):
Housed in a sturdy acrylic sifter jar topped with a shiny rose gold lid, the Radiant Loose Powder Foundation is a sheer-coverage powder foundation formulated with jojoba, kaolin, and kakadu plum extract (rich in vitamin C). The ingredient list includes titanium dioxide but the product is not advertised as containing any SPF. The powder is available in 20 shades and I have here "
W2 Ivory", a light ivory with a yellow undertone. The formulation is finely-milled and very silky but I found the coverage a little lackluster. To me, it's even sheerer than the Glossier Wowder (reviewed
here), which doesn't even advertise itself as a powder foundation. Additionally, this powder doesn't provide enough blurring and mattifying effect. Technically, the finish is supposed to be satin radiant but nevertheless, I expected a more smoothing and airbrushed effect. Overall, this powder may be suitable for those with dry skin but it's not enough for anyone with normal to oily skin looking for a decent coverage and a smoothing, blurring effect.

Nude by Nature | Flawless Concealer (Left) & Perfecting Concealer (Right) |
Nude by Nature | Flawless Concealer in "02 Porcelain Beige" ($24 CAD for 2.5 g):
A stick concealer packaged in a sleek rose gold case identical to that of the Creamy Matte Lipstick (see below), the Flawless Concealer is available in eight shades. I have here "
02 Porcelain Beige", a very light ivory with a yellow undertone. Made with quandong extract (full of antioxidant and antimicrobial properties), desert lime (high in antioxidant and vitamin C), bamboo powder (to blur and absorb excess oil), and baobab fruit extract (also high in antioxidant and vitamin C), the concealer has a creamy but slightly tacky formulation. The concealer is semi-sheer so several swipes are needed for a decent coverage. The finish is quite dewy and "wet" so it definitely needs to be set with a powder. I experienced some fading but the concealer didn't crease so that's a plus. Overall, this is a nice and moisturizing semi-sheer concealer. It works fine if you need some light camouflaging and brightening for the undereye area but the coverage is not enough for blemishes or breakouts.

Nude by Nature | Flawless Concealer & Perfecting Concealer in "02 Porcelain Beige" |
Nude by Nature | Perfecting Concealer in "02 Porcelain Beige" ($24 CAD for 5.9 ml):
Available in the same eight shades as the Flawless Concealer, the Perfecting Concealer is a liquid concealer formulated with shea, jojoba, kakadu plum, and vitamin E. "
02 Porcelain" is also a light ivory but this shade has a cooler undertone. Similar to the Flawless Foundation, the Perfecting Concealer is also semi-sheer. The formulation is quite tacky and I found it a bit hard to blend. This is definitely an undereye concealer as the coverage is just not enough for covering breakouts. There is minimal creasing but the finish will need to be set with a powder. Overall, neither of these concealers are quite my cup of tea. The tacky formulation is cumbersome to work with and given how many superior alternatives there are on the market (YSL Touche Éclat, Maybelline Age Rewind, Urban Decay Naked Concealer, just to name a few), it's hard to justify their existence.

Nude by Nature | Sheer Light Illuminator |
Nude by Nature | Sheer Light Illuminator ($32 CAD for 30 ml):
Housed in a simple squeeze tube, the Sheer Light Illuminator is a liquid highlighter designed to provide the skin with a natural, healthy glow. Made with oat extract and jojoba oil, the formulation is indeed very sheer. In fact, the rose gold shimmers are so sparse that they are barely visible. As a result, I'm not sure how this can be used as a highlighter over foundation. If anything, this is is more of an illuminating primer that should be applied before foundation or mixed with foundation. It provides a very subtle glow and the finish is non-sticky and non-greasy. You can probably also use it over bare skin but I would not recommend doing so for oily or combination skin. Overall, this is not a product I personally would use but there's definitely an audience for it. If you have dry to normal skin and like incorporating a subtle shimmering primer into your foundation routine, then this is worth checking out.

Nude by Nature | Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow & Loose Eyeshadow |
Nude by Nature | Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow ($28 CAD for 3 g):
Available in 12 different shades, the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow are single eyeshadows housed in a rose gold compact. "
04 Sunrise" is a beautiful champagne brown shimmer while "
07 Sunset" is a warm dark brown satin with a very subtle sprinkling of golden shimmers. Thanks to the almond oil and sandalwood infused formulation, both shadows have a creamy and silky texture. However, "04 Sunrise" is definitely a lot more pigmented and intense while "07 Sunset" is slightly patchy but buildable.
Nude by Nature | Shimmer Sands Loose Eyeshadow in "03 Rose Sand" ($22 CAD for 2 g):
Available in three shades, the Shimmering Sands Loose Eyeshadow features an ultra-pigmented formulation made with jojoba, kaolin clay, cehami extract (contains anti-inflammatory properties), and kakadu plum. "
03 Rose Sand" is a stunning rose gold that actually looks quite orange in person. The eyeshadow is incredibly intense yet easy to blend but the packaging is very messy. Instead of a sifter jar, the loose shadow comes in a small tube equipped with a doe-foot applicator. The shadow comes out flying every time I try to remove the cap and it's almost impossible to apply the eyeshadow directly using the applicator without getting a ton of fallouts. Flawed packaging aside, this is a fantastic loose eyeshadow!

Nude by Nature | Cashmere Pressed Blush in "03 Desert Rose" & Highlight Palette |
Nude by Nature | Cashmere Pressed Blush in "03 Desert Rose" ($26 CAD for 6 g):
Available in three shades, the Cashmere Pressed Blush is a rich and buttery powder blush formulated with jojoba, shea, avocado oil, and kakdu plum. "
03 Desert Rose" is a muted terra cotta rose with a sophisticated sheen. The blush is nicely pigmented but it's not so intense that it's easy to overdo. The shade is a bit too warm for my personal preference but the longevity is good at the application is even and non-patchy.
Nude by Nature | Highlight Palette ($32 CAD for 9 g):
Housed in a rose gold rectangular compact, the Highlight Palette contains three powder highlighters designed to add warmth, definition, and radiance to the skin. Similar to the Cashmere Pressed Blush, all three shades have a rich and creamy formulation thanks to the avocado oil and jojoba oil contained in the formulation. The pigmentation is fantastic so if you want that super intense strobing effect, you can definitely achieve it with these colors. "
01 Champagne" is a classic golden champagne. "
02 Rose" is a beautiful warm pink infused with an ethereal golden sheen. "
03 Bronze" is a warm terracotta bronze with a subtle shimmery finish. Because I'm not into bronzers, the last shade feels a little out of place, especially given the fact that this is advertised as a highlighting palette. Nevertheless, given the quality of the formulation, packaging, and price point, this is an excellent face palette!

Nude by Nature | Moisture Infusion Lipgloss in "07 Dusk" ($21 CAD for 3.75 ml):
Available in 10 flattering shades, the Moisture Infusion Lipgloss is formulated with shea butter, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, and kakadu plum. I have here the shade "
07 Dusk", a soft rosy nude with a barely noticeable hint of shimmer. I'm not a lipgloss girl but the formulation for this is very nourishing and pleasant. The texture is lightweight and there is zero stickiness. The finish is shiny and while the color is sheer, it applied evenly with minimal settling.
Nude by Nature | Sheer Glow Colour Balm in "04 Berry" ($20 CAD for 2.75 g):
Offered in just four shades, the Sheer Glow Colour Balm is a sheer tinted lip balm made with sweet almond oil, tangerine oil, mango butter, and shea butter. "
04 Berry" is a sheer wine red. The formulation is very hydrating and slick but the color applied a little patchy. Up close (as shown in the lip swatches below), the finish doesn't look too bad but in person and at a distance, the lip color looks just a touch blotchy. The other shades may perform differently but "04 Berry" is probably best paired with a base color.
Nude by Nature | Creamy Matte Lipstick in "08 Cerise" ($23 CAD for 2.75 g):
Housed in a beautiful rose gold case and available in ten shades, the Creamy matte Lipstick promises full coverage with a comfortable wear. Also made with mango butter, the formulation is indeed very creamy but I wouldn't call it a matte lipstick. In fact, the finish has a pretty noticeable sheen. "
08 Cerise" is a rich, warm rosy brown. The color is pretty pigmented but I struggled with achieving a clean outline so the formulation would definitely benefit from a liner. The lipstick is hydrating and nourishing but it is prone to transferring and fading.
Nude by Nature | Moisture Shine Lipstick in "09 Rosewood" ($23 CAD for 4 g):
Last but not least is the Moisture Shine Lipstick. Formulated with jojoba and shea and available in ten shades, this lipstick offers a slightly sheerer coverage with a plush, moisturizing finish. "
09 Rosewood" is a muted rosy brown with a very even and flattering coverage. The Moisture Shine formulation is not as soft and creamy as that of the Creamy Matte Lipstick but it's still very comfortable and lightweight. Longevity-wise, the lipstick fades easily with eating and drinking so be prepared to reapply as needed.

Overall this is a very promising new addition to the Canadian market. I love the brand philosophy and the packaging is super trendy and chic. The formulation has some hits and misses but I would definitely recommend checking out the Cashmere Pressed Blush, the Highlight Palette, the Moisture Shine Lipstick, and the entire makeup brush collection.
