Paul & Joe | Face & Eye Color CS in "114" |
Paul & Joe | Face & Eye Color CS in "114" ($25 for 3 Sheets):
Designed to look like mini vinyl records stored in their paper sleeves, the Face & Eye Color CS is a trio of multi-use powders. Available in two sets of three, the powders are nicely pigmented and smooth in texture. The packaging is arguably one of the most adorable I've seen to date but unfortunately, each "disc" essentially only contains a sampling of color enough for maybe eight to ten uses. No actual gram measurement is noted on the packaging but I assume you get a total of less than 0.5g from the three sheets combined.

Paul & Joe | Face & Eye Color CS in "114B Pop Pink" |
I have here the "114" trio, which includes "
114A Petal Pink", a sheer pale lavender with subtle specks of gold shimmer, "
114B Pop Pink", a lavender pink with subtle gold sparkles, and "
114C Spring Coral", a pigmented dusty, muted orange with a pearlescent sheen. Both the pink and the orange are suitable for the cheeks and the eyes while the lavender works best as an eyeshadow. Overall, this is a very cute set. However, I see it more as a collector's item as you really don't get much product.

Paul & Joe | Pearl Foundation Primer |
Paul & Joe | Pearl Foundation Primer ($40 CAD for 30ml):
Previously available as a part of the Spring and Summer 2017 Collection (reviewed
here), the Pearl Foundation Primer is back again by popular demand. Housed in an elegant glass jar engraved with the classic Paul & Joe chrysanthemum flower, this is a water-based hydrating primer packed with four different shades of pearls. With a light citrus and floral scent, the primer is made with orange flower water, hyaluronic acid, white lily extract, jojoba oil, and apricot extract. The product dispenses from a pump so the pearls are crushed for an even application. Similar to a lightweight moisturizing serum, the primer is hydrating and smoothing. It does contain some silicone for blurring minor textural imperfections but the finish is not heavy or icky.

Paul & Joe | Pearl Foundation Primer |
Despite looking quite bright and pink in the bottle, the pearls don't actually provide any pigmentation. Only when observed under direct sunlight will you notice a very subtle pink sheen but the effect will be covered completely by your foundation. The primer creates a smooth canvas for makeup application and it provides a great boost of hydration that doesn't add shine or compromise wear. I rarely use primers because it's hard to find one that's compatible with my combination skin but I really enjoyed this one. So if you can find it in stores before it's gone (again), then definitely check it out!

Paul & Joe | Lipstick Case CS in "045" |
Paul & Joe | Lipstick Case CS in "045" ($11 CAD):
Inspired directly by Paul & Joe fashion, the three new limited edition lipstick cases for Spring 2018 all bear some form of cat motif. I got here the "
045" style, which features a regal kitty standing against an ornate background. The case is sold separately from the lipstick refills and they are made with printed structured paper. In terms of durability, these do wear quite quickly so I think they are more suitable for collection purposes only. Paul & Joe offers cute plastic lipstick cases as well so you can get a more practical packaging without sacrificing style.

Paul & Joe | Lipstick Case CS in "045" & Lipstick CS (Refill) in "105 Saint Germain" |
Paul & Joe | Lipstick CS in "105 Saint Germain" ($21 CAD for 3.5g):
Made with shea butter, orange oil, white lily extract, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, and vitamin E, the three new lipstick refill shades for Spring 2018 offers a sheer wash of color with an alluring, voluminous shine. I have here "
105 Saint Germain", a gorgeous sheer red with no visible shimmers. The tip of the lipstick is etched with a delicate chrysanthemum flower that is too precious to ruin so I used a lip brush to get a swatch of the lipstick from the base of the bullet. The formulation feels lightweight and non-sticky but I can't bring myself to use it on my lips anytime soon.
