Too Faced Natural Face Makeup Palette & Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette: Review and Swatches
Earlier this week I shared a post on the new nude lipsticks from the Too Faced It Just Comes Naturally Collection and today I want to give you a look at a couple of the new palettes from the collection. Offering neutral, everyday colors for the cheeks and eyes, the Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette and the Natural Face Palette are bound to become staples in your daily makeup routine. Too Faced | Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($48 CAD):
An update of the original Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette (one of my most used eyeshadow palettes of all time), this is a nine-shade matte neutral palette featuring a nice array of cool and warm creams, browns, and beiges. The palette comes in a snazzy plastic compact featuring delicate lace prints and raised, embossed letterings. You get three 2g shadows and six 1g shadows and each shade is pressed with a pretty lace pattern. A magnetic closure keeps the palette securely shut when not in use. However, the palette is quite hefty, especially in comparison to the original metal tin packaging. Therefore, I probably wouldn't travel with it if I want to keep things light.

In terms of formulation, this palette is phenomenal! Just when I thought the original palette offered some of the softest, creamiest, most pigmented mattes I've ever tried, this one beats it by ten-fold. Every single shade is saturated with pigments and they blend just like a dream. If anything, some of the darker shades are a little too pigmented, so apply with a light hand and build as you go. Additionally, the coconut oil infused formulation also has a sweet, creamy coconut scent. Each row of shadows makes up a trio designed to work together to create a complete eye look. See below for a breakdown of all nine shades.

Heaven: A soft ivory cream that's a part of the original palette, Heaven is even more pigmented and creamy in this version.
Less is More: This is a soft taupe brown. The formulation is super pigmented and non-patchy.
Sexpert: This is a dark neutral brown. The pigmentation is great and the color blends very well.

Nude Goals: This is a whitish pale pink. The pigmentation is through the roof and it makes for the perfect brow and inner corner highlight.
Cleavage: This is a pretty taupe brown. Again, the formulation is just top-notch!
Risky Biz: A deep espresso brown, Risky Biz swatches a bit patchy but it blends really well on the lids.

Lace Teddy: This is a peach beige nude that's a great all-over-the-lid or transition shade.
Au Natural: A soft warm brown, this color is oh-so-creamy and pigmented!
Hookup: A warm terracotta brown, Hookup is super pigmented and creamy.

Here is a look I did using the middle row. I used "Nude Goals" on the inner corner and the brow bone, "Cleavage" all over the lid, and "Risky Biz" on the outer corner. I also used a bit of "Au Natural" as a transition and a little bit of "Satin Sheets" from the Natural Face Palette (see below) as a lower lash line highlight. As you can see, the shadows work so well together and blend seamlessly for a sophisticated, elegant look.

Too Faced | Natural Face Palette ($54 CAD):
Housed in a gorgeous palette similar to the Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette but slightly bigger in size, the Natural Face Palette is a six-shade face and cheek palette with two highlighters, two blushes, and two bronzers each weighing at 2g. Again, although very well-made, the compact is quite heavy and chunky. In addition to the slightly difficult to open magnetic closure, the packaging is definitely more form over function.

Like the eyeshadows in the Matte Eyeshadow Palette, each shade of blush, bronzer, and highlighter inside the Natural Face Palette is pressed with a delicate lace pattern. Infused with coconut oil and fragranced with a sweet coconut scent, the powders are creamy and pigmented. Texture-wise, they are some of the best powders on the market but I do find that they don't last as long as I would have hoped. Blushes from both Clarins and Burberry to stay all day on me while these colors fade noticeably after six or seven hours. With that said, I do have oily skin and the tendency to touch my face throughout the day so for those with normal skin, these might last just fine. See below for a breakdown of all six shades.

Starlight: A soft champagne highlighter with a warm pink sheen, Starlight is subtle and flattering. The formulation is finely-milled so there are no chunky glitters or large specks of sparkle.
Pink Wink: This is a bright pink blush with a soft hint of golden shimmers. The pigmentation for this is super intense and a little difficult to blend so definitely tap off any excess from the brush for a natural, even application.
Sunny Honey: A light ginger bronze that's scattered with a very subtle golden sparkle, this shade is great for defining the cheeks and the perimeter of the face.
Satin Sheets: My personal favorite out of the six, Satin Sheets is a mesmerizing soft pink with a strong golden sheen. It doesn't look like much in the photos but it works so well as a cheek and inner corner highlight. The golden sheen gives the complexion an ethereal, fairy glow that's just too precious for words.
Pink Sand: My second favorite from the palette, Pink Sand is a sophisticated matte mocha rose. The pigmentation is sheerer in comparison to the rest of the palette but still buildable for a natural, chiseled flush.
Tropic Like it's Hot: This is a stunning terracotta bronze infused with a fine golden sheen. This one is technically a bronzer but it can definitely work as a blush as well. The formulation is unbelievably smooth and pigmented.
Too Faced It Just Comes Naturally Collection: Review and Swatches
Too Faced | It Just Comes Naturally Collection
This is a full face makeup I created using the It Just Comes Naturally Collection. For the eyes, I used the Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette as described above and for the cheeks, I paired "Pink Sand" with "Starlight". For the lips, I used the Natural Nudes Lipstick in "Pout About It" (reviewed here). So what are your thoughts on these two palettes? Will you be picking up any pieces from the new collection?
