J Goldcrown for Sephora Collection | Bleeding Hearts The Overpacker Makeup Bag ($40):
Designed to store all your beauty or non-beauty travel essentials, The Overpacker is a spacious multi-compartment bag equipped with a built-in hook for easy storage and access. The main compartment is large enough for carrying most skincare and toiletries; there are several side pockets as well to keep things organized. Two other pockets line the lid flap and an additional pocket is found right outside the main compartment. With a convenient strap for easy handling, The Overpacker is definitely my fave out of the three bags in this collection. If you are looking for a bag that will fit all your travel skincare and makeup needs, this is the one!
J Goldcrown for Sephora Collection | Bleeding Hearts The Minimalist Makeup Bag ($25):
If you are a light packer looking for a simple, stylish bag that will hold all your beauty essentials, The Minimalist is your pick. About the size of a hefty hardcover book, this bag has two compartments divided by a thin flap of fabric. I can fit most of my essential travel makeup items and a couple of skincare items. For bigger cream jars and toner bottles, The Overpacker or The Universalist offers much more flexibility.
J Goldcrown for Sephora Collection | Bleeding Hearts The Universalist Makeup Bag ($53):
My go-to beauty storage for week-long vacations (I own several versions from past collections), The Universalist is a jumbo-sized makeup bag that will fit just about all my skincare, toiletries, and makeup needs. The top compartment unzips to reveal two rolls of elastic straps designed for securing makeup brushes and any tube-shaped items. The feature is fantastic if you are like me and want to keep things organized and easily accessible.
The bottom compartment opens to reveal a spacious pocket for storing just about everything else. Similar elastic straps can be found along the sides to hold jars and bottles and a mesh pocket is available for storing smaller items on the underside of the lid. As you can see in the photo below, the bottom compartment is huge! Everything from full-sized face cream, toner, and toiletries should fit with no problem. One drawback is that everything is cloth-lined so if there's a broken powder compact or spilled shampoo, the cleanup can be challenging.
Sephora Collection products can be very hit or miss but their makeup bags have been consistently amazing.
