It's pretty clear that Too Faced has hit the jackpot with its peach-themed makeup so it's no surprise that the brand is expanding the Peaches & Cream Collection with a brand new palette. Filled with fresh, cool-tone pastels, the White Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($55 CAD) is perfect for the spring season. To see some swatches and read my review, click......
Packaging:
Similar to the Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette, the White Peach palette comes in a sleek, shiny gold compact. The lid shuts magnetically and the outside is covered with a large sheet of raised glossy sticker bearing the "White Peach" logo. You get 12 shadows, each weighing 1.25g, totaling 15g altogether.
Formulation:
Unlike the Just Peachy Mattes, the White Peach palette comes with a nice assortment of finishes. There are seven mattes, three shimmers, one satin, and one sparkly matte. The overall formulation is very good. The majority of the shadows (mattes included) are silky and smooth. Pigmentation-wise, the colors perform pretty well but since most of them are on the lighter, you won't be able to achieve a super bold, intense look. See below for a breakdown of all 12 shades.
Crème de la Peach: This is a soft orange matte scattered with a subtle sprinkle of fine golden sparkles. The formulation is nice and pigmented
Peaches & Dreams: A unique sandy gold, Peaches & Cream is buttery and nicely pigmented.
Peach Suede: This is a soft peachy pink. The pigmentation is good and the texture is smooth and silky.
Peach Cream: A soft creamy ivory, this shade is nicely pigmented and non-patchy. It works very well as an inner corner and brow bone highlight.
Sweet Fig: This is a sophisticated matte taupe. The formulation is pigmented and creamy.
Peach Smooth: A soft matte peach, this is a classic all-over-the-lid shade.
Glistening Peach: This is a beautiful golden pink shimmer. Unfortunately, the formulation is a little sheer and fallout-prone.
Peach Sorbet: A dusty peachy beige matte, Peach Sorbet is creamy and pigmented.
Peach Passion: Definitely the standout shade, Peach Passion is a sheer black shimmer packed with purple, silver, and blue sparkles. There's definitely some fallout but the color is very buildable.
On the Grill: This is a dark cool-tone matte brown. The formulation is pigmented and non-patchy.
Fuzzy: A creamy and smooth beige-taupe, Fuzzy is a great transition color.
Peach Ice: This is a soft pearly shimmer. The formulation is pretty sheer and fallout-prone.
Below is the "Peach Smoke" look I created using the included step-by-step guide. Overall, this is a nice palette for those that prefer soft pastel colors. Despite numerous reviews online complaining about the pigmentation, I found the shadow to be decently pigmented. However, because the colors are so light, they may not show up well on all skin tones. Therefore, I would recommend checking out this palette in stores before buying!
