Bite Beauty | Prismatic Pearl Multistick: Review and Swatches
About a year ago, Bite Beauty introduced the beloved Multistick range (reviewed here) and for Spring 2018, they are adding a shimmery shade selection called the Prismatic Pearl Multisticks ($28 CAD). Available in five sheer shimmers, these pearl-inspired cream colors promise a mesmerizing glow for the eyes, lips, and cheeks. To see some swatches and read my review of the formulation, click......

Packaging:
The Bite Prismatic Pearl Multisticks are packaged in a sleek dark gray tube with a velvety matte finish. The cap secures magnetically and since this is a multi-use cream product, the bullet tip is flattened for easy application.

Formulation:
Available in five shades, the Prismatic Pearl Multisticks are a range of multi-use sheer shimmers designed for the lips, cheeks, and eyes. Here I have the shades "Blush Pearl", a translucent white with iridescent pink sparkles, and "Pink Pearl", a warm translucent pink with iridescent peachy pink sparkles. Texture-wise, the Prismatic Pearl Multisticks are creamy and lightweight. They are buildable to a more intense shine but a heavier application can feel heavy and greasy. The shimmers are very fine and non-gritty but they are quite sparkly, not intended for those looking for a refined, sophisticated sheen. Additionally, the formulation doesn't completely set, so the shimmers are prone to transferring and smudging.

I find that the application is quite muddled and difficult to blend on top of foundation and powder so as a cream highlighter, these work best on bare skin. For the eyes, a light dab on the center of the lid works fine but if you are building to a more intense shimmer, the finish will crease and feel sticky. For the lips, however, it works just fine, either on its own or over a base color.
Overall, this is a really pretty product. Both "Pink Pearl" and "Blush Pearl" look so shimmery and glowy on the skin. However, the formulation doesn't set and is very prone to smudging. Therefore, unless you are using these as lipstick toppers, I would recommend checking out alternative cream highlighters for a better, longer-lasting result.
