Hi guys, can you believe that it's already 2018? In celebration of the new year, I want to take a moment and share with you my top ten most viewed posts of last year. 2017 has been a great year for the blog because despite the increasing demands of school, I've still managed to post regularly. Additionally, if you've been following the blog for a while, you may remember that I changed my blog template back in January. This was a pretty challenging time. A lot of tweaking was needed and the new template severely affected my viewership and SEO. I'm happy to say that things have eventually returned to normal so I'm looking forward to a new year of only smooth sailing (fingers crossed). Without further ado, here is a list of my top ten most viewed posts of 2017......

Essie Resort 2017 Collection: Essie swatches always get a ton of hits on the site so it's no surprise that this fresh and elegant four-piece Resort Collection made it onto the list this year. These four polishes not only look pretty, but they are also very well formulated! Even that pastel sky blue is a smooth two-coater!

Mary Kay Spring 2017 Light, Reinvented Collection: Like Essie, Mary Kay is a consistently popular brand on the blog. This fresh spring collection introduced some lovely pastels. Although neither the shadows nor the glosses are anything extraordinary, the polishes in the collection are so creamy and pigmented!

Dior Addict Lacquer Stick: With so many innovative releases, Dior had a pretty spectacular year in 2017. One of the many Dior entries on this list, the Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks are nothing revolutionary in terms of formulation but the color selection is gorgeous and the packaging is just stunning.

Chanel Fall 2017 Travel Diary Collection: Because they are posted later in the year and thus don't get the opportunity to accumulate as many views, fall collections rarely make an appearance on this list. However, the Chanel Travel Diary Collection was a huge hit thanks to its sophisticated colors and innovative formulations. I wasn't very impressed with most of the pieces but the Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick in "Nightfall" was certainly a standout.

Chanel Spring 2017 Énergies et Puretés Collection: Another Chanel range that received a whole lot of love was the beautiful Spring 2017 Collection. The highlighter is beautiful and that blush packaging is beyond words!

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint: Just about every single makeup brand offers a liquid lipstick nowadays and although the Tarte Tarteist Lip Paints are nothing out of the ordinary formulation-wise, the wide selection of neutral colors is very impressive. If you've been on the hunt for your perfect nude liquid lipstick shade, check out this line!

OPI Summer 2017 California Dreaming Collection: Filled with sunny oranges and gorgeous berries, this California-inspired collection perfectly captured the spirit of the sunny state and offered up some beautifully formulated polishes.

Essie Gel Couture Spring 2017 Ballet Nudes Collection: Since its mid-2016 launch, the Essie Gel Couture range has seen some great success. Case in point is this gorgeous spring collection filled with neutral beiges and pale pastels.

Dior 2017 Dior Addict Lip Glow "006 Berry" & Lip Sugar Scrub: One of my all-time favorite lip products is the Dior Addict Lip Glow and in 2017, Dior introduced a brand new shade (Berry) and a sugar scrub version of the product. I didn't end up loving the Lip Sugar Scrub but I'm almost completely finished with the "Berry" Lip Glow!

Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Long-Wear Colored Tint: Touted as a super long-wearing lip tint, the Dior Lip Addict Lip Tattoos received a ton of buzz in Spring 2017. The formulation ended up being pretty disappointing but I definitely commend Dior for its innovative concept and product design.
