Packaging:
The MatteLast Liquid Lip comes in a sleek acrylic tube paired with a signature Pixi green cap. The doe-foot applicator has a flattened paddle-shape and a small product reservoir in the center. Since it's slightly bigger than the standard doe-foot and picks up a larger amount of product, the applicator does a wonderful job at applying and smoothing out the formulation.

Formulation:
Infused with rosehip oil and vitamin E, the MatteLast Liquid Lip is a range of super pigmented liquid lipsticks with a completely transfer-proof finish. In terms of formulation, these are pretty standard for a liquid lipstick. The texture is creamy and smooth upon application and it sets to a true-matte finish. The lipsticks are lightly scented and the smell reminds me of Pixi's Glow Tonic. The formulation isn't drying per se but it's certainly not moisturizing. There is no smudging or transferring but with some eating and drinking, the color will patch and fade. The range is available in six shades and I have five of them here. Au Naturelle: Light peach nude.
Matte Beige: Light neutral beige.
Pastel Petal: A slightly darker and dustier version of Matte Beige.
Really Rose: Medium dusty rose.
Evening Rose: Dark dusty rose with a hint of brown.

Overall, the Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip is a solid range of neutral liquid lipsticks. The formulation is pigmented and long-lasting albeit nothing extraordinary. However, if you are a fan of the everyday nude lip colors, definitely check these out in stores!
