Now that I've shared my favorite lip and nail colors from 2017, I am making a list of all the lovely skincare and makeup products that won over my heart last year. It's a pretty big list so let's get started......
Skincare:
1. Farmacy | Green Clean Meltaway Cleansing Balm: This is a super effective cleansing balm that removes just about everything (waterproof mascara included). The price is relatively affordable as well.
2. YLLO | Turmeric Face Scrub: An indie brand offering just a handful of products made with turmeric, YLLO really wowed with this yummy-smelling and super effective sugar scrub mask!
3. Kiehl's | Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque: Kiehl's makes great masks and this cooling, calming mask just feels so good on the skin!
4. Lush | Smugger's Soul Face Scrub: Lush really knocked it out of the park with this super fine yet effective face scrub made with bamboo extract granules. Unfortunately, this was a limited edition product but hopefully Lush brings it back in 2018.
7. Deciem | The Ordinary: With a wide range of simple serums and oils available for under $10 or $15, The Ordinary definitely impressed with its quality ingredients and honest pricing.
8. Dior | One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum: This is a really nice, detoxifying serum that feels super good on the skin and leaves behind no icky, silicone-y residues.
9. Pixi | Glow Tonic & Overnight Glow Serum: Probably two of my favorite AHAs products, the Pixi Glow Tonic toner and the Glow Serum truly made my skin smoother and more radiant. Plus, I love how affordable they are!
10. Fresh | Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner: This is a simple and gentle toner infused with rose extract, rose water, and rose oil. I like how soothing and hydrating it is.
11. Farmacy | Invincible Root Cell Anti-Aging Serum: Infused with a plethora of botanical goodness, this is a really thin and runny serum (free of thickeners and silicones, just the way kind I like) that layered really well with any moisturizer.
12. Dr. Roebuck's | Reverse Aging Serum: I guess 2017 was the year I really got into serums so here is another favorite. Enriched with various vitamins, oils, and hyaluronic acid, this one is a little thicker in texture and prone to pilling. However, it really did make my skin look and feel plumper and more youthful.
13. Fresh | Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream: Fresh really can't do wrong and their Vitamin Nectar cream is a great everyday choice. It's packed with brightening vitamins and the formulation smells super delicious.
14. Dior | Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme: For once I've found a lightweight gel moisturizer that didn't pill or feel icky after a full day of wear! This one not only provides a ton of moisturization but it also feels super calming and pleasant on the skin.
Makeup:
1. Dior | Forever Perfect Foundation: With a great coverage and a beautiful finish that lasts all day, this is one of my favorite foundations in the recent years.
2. Glossier | Wowder: Glossier produced quite a few disappointing products this year (see my Worst of 2017 list) but this loose tinted setting powder is really impressive. The packaging is kind of a pain but the formulation is so smoothing and blurring.
3. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear 24H Foundation: Pretty similar to the Dior Forever Perfect Foundation, this is a full-coverage foundation with a natural matte finish that lasts all day. Plus, there is a wide range of shades to choose from!
8. Urban Decay | Heavy Metals Eyeshadow Palette: Metallic shadows are my favorites and this palette offers so many beautiful, pigmented metallic shades.
9. IT Cosmetics | Superhero Liner: Equipped with a precise brush applicator, this liner is quick-drying and super long-lasting!
10. Too Faced | Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette: With so many luxurious golds and bronzes, this palette not only look amazing, it also smells like yummy chocolate!
So what do you think of my list? Did any of these products win over your heart in 2017? Share with me in the comments below!

5. Lush | Scrubee Butter Scrub: A limited edition Lush release that was added to the permanent collection due to popular demand, Scrubee is a rich and nourishing in-shower scrub bar made with crushed almond and coconut shell. The formulation definitely leaves behind a bit of a greasy residue but it's super convenient for lazy shower-goers that never seems to have the time to scrub or lotion.
6. Lush | Golden Pear Soap: With the most mouthwatering scent of pear, this is a beautiful bar soap made with shea butter and coconut oil. This was a limited edition release but hopefully Lush brings it back again for next Christmas.

15. Beautycounter | Rebalancing Skincare Collection: With its amazing formulation and elegant packaging, Beautycounter really wowed with this collection! The charcoal mask works like a charm and the face oil is so nourishing.
16. Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer: Hands down my favorite day moisturizer in the recent years (the Dior one is a close competitor), this little jar of goodness kept my skin hydrated and non-greasy.
Hair:
Kerastase | Aura Botanica Collection: Hair products rarely make it onto my favorites lists simply because they just never really stand out. However, this collection really made a difference. Made with coconut and argan oil and free of silicones and sulfates, the Aura Botanica collection made my hair so shiny and smooth. None of the items are very cheap but I think they are worth the splurge.

6. Burberry | My Burberry Blush Palette: Aside from the exquisite packaging, this blush is the perfect shade of sophisticated rose. The pigmentation is amazing and the color lasts all day!
7. The Brush Bar | Makeup Brush Washing Board: Washing my makeup brushes has never been so efficient and enjoyable thanks to this unique and innovative brush washboard!

11. Shu Uemura | Eye Foil Liquid Eye Shadow: I'm usually not super adventurous when it comes to eyeshadows but these liquid shadows from Shu Uemura are so easy to use! The pigmentated formulation also sets to a completely smudge-proof finish.
12. L'Oreal | Lash Paradise Mascara: With a standard bristle wand, Lash Paradise defines and lengthens the lashes without weighing down the curls. This one got a lot of buzz in 2017 and it's not hard to see why!
13. Burberry | My Burberry Blush Eau de Parfum: With the most delicious and unique notes of pomegranate and wisteria, this scent stood out above all the rest for me. Hats off to you, Burberry!
