Packaging:
The Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics come in a clear acrylic tube paired with a cap that's identical to that of the classic MAC lipstick. The doe-foot applicator has a tapered paddle shape that's great for picking up product and spreading it smoothly on the lips.

Formulation:
To be completely honest, I am not a huge fan of metallic lip colors. Even after swatching these Retro Matte Metallics on my arm, I wasn't super excited about the shade extension. The colors are true metallics but they appear just a tad streaky. However, these performed really well on the lips. Each and every color applied super smoothly and evenly, providing an opaque coverage in just one coat. The formulation sets within seconds yet it layers with no problem at all. The metallic matte finish is completely transfer-proof. It does get pretty drying after a while but it will last at least six or so hours with minimal eating and drinking. See below for a breakdown of the individual shades.
Pearl Punk: This is a soft dusty pink with a subtle metallic sheen. Despite being such a light color, Pearl Punk is creamy and pigmented- just one swipe provides an even and opaque finish.
