A mega set of mini liquid lipsticks (1.5ml each), the Star-Studded Eight is the ultimate Christmas present for anyone who loves the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks! Included are five pre-existing shades: Rubino (lip swatches here), Chianti, Aria, Patina (lip swatches here), and Perla. Also included are three brand new shades exclusive to this set: Sogno, Beso Shimmer, and Patina Shimmer. See below for a formulation breakdown of the three new shades.
Stila Star-Studded Eight All Day Liquid Lipstick Set
Sogno: This is a pale beige nude. The color is not very flattering with my skin tone but the formulation is excellent. The color is very opaque and the finish is matte and transfer-proof, as is with all pre-existing Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick shades.

Beso Shimmer: A gorgeous metallic version of the classic Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick "Beso" (swatched here), Beso Shimmer is absolutely stunning! Instead of chunky shimmers, the color is infused with a subtle metallic sheen. The pigmentation is phenomenal and the application is just flawless. If you want to jazz up your classic bright matte red, definitely give this a try. A full-sized version of this shade (and all other new shades featured in this post) will be available on its own starting spring 2018.
Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick in "Beso Shimmer"
Patina Shimmer: A pale light pink, Patina Shimmer is sprinkled with a subtle splash of fine gold sparkles. Unlike Beso Shimmer, this shade is definitely not a metallic but a matte shimmer. The formulation is nicely pigmented but it is just a tad streaky.

Stila Sheer Delight All Day Liquid Lipstick Set
Stila Holiday 2017 | Sheer Delight Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set ($26 CAD):
Featuring a trio of mini Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks, the Sheer Delight gift set includes the shades Fiery (lip swatches here), Patina (lip swatches here), and Sheer Morello. Fiery and Patina are two popular pre-existing shades while Sheer Morello is a brand new color with a brand new formulation that's launching Spring 2018; see below for a detailed review and some lip swatches.
Stila Sheer Delight All Day Liquid Lipstick Set
Sheer Morello: The original Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks are fully-opaque, long-wearing liquid lipsticks with a completely transfer-proof finish. Sheer Morello, in contrast, is described as a sheer lip tint that sets to a stay-proof finish. Unfortunately, the formulation just didn't work for me. When applied very sheerly, the color goes on noticeably patchy (see lip swatches here). A few more coats give a more intense and even coverage (see below), but the finish is not at all transfer-proof. Although matte and more opaque, a heavier application easily patches off in large chunks (see lip swatches here). When I pressed my lips together, the lipstick cracked and transferred in a way that I've never experienced before. I've only tried one of these new "sheer" shades so far so I'm hoping that the other upcoming colors will perform much better. Unfortunately, however, this one is a dud.

Stila Holiday 2017 | Big Shots Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner & HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara Set ($33 CAD):
With a value of $59, this is a two-piece gift set featuring a full-sized Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in "Intense Black" and a full-sized HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara. I haven't tried this mascara before but I'm a big fan of the Liquid Eyeliner, which is consistently a bestseller for Stila.

In addition to the two lip sets above, Stila has two other Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Sets featuring mini versions of popular shades.
