Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Poudre Glam Face & Body |
Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Poudre Glam Face & Body ($45 CAD):
Packaged in a plastic sifter jar paired with a sparkly, glittery lid, this is a loose highlighting powder designed for the face and body. You get 18g of product and also included is a convenient puff applicator. Despite being a part of a holiday collection, the Poudre Glam is rather subtle and sophisticated. The soft, fine, and surprisingly creamy formulation has a peachy beige color and instead of obvious sparkles and glitters, it has a pretty and natural sheen. Unlike most face and body highlighters that are often way too over-the-top for the face, this actually works really well as a cheek and brow highlight. Even if you aren't a big fan of loose highlighters, the Poudre Glam Face & Body is definitely worth checking out!

Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Smokey Nudes 12-Color Eyeshadow Palette |
Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Smokey Nudes 12-Color Eyeshadow Palette ($65 CAD):
Housed in a sleek and slim rectangular compact, the Smokey Nudes 12-Color Eyeshadow Palette is the latest addition to the Lise Watier nude palette range (see the Rose Nudes palette
here and the Simply Nudes palette
here). Although advertised as a neutral palette, Smokey Nudes features quite a few shimmery, festive party shades. There are six mattes and six shimmers (1g each), with a great variety of neutral blending shades and sparkly standout shades. Because they are all pretty fabulous in terms of formulation, I won't break them down one by one. All you need to know is that Lise Watier makes some of the best eyeshadows I've tried and even the mattes are creamy and pigmented.

Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Glam Pigment |
Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Glam Pigment ($28 CAD):
Probably the most interesting item in the range, the Glam Pigment is a unique metallic cream shadow with a chunky, loose formulation. I made the mistake of opening the product upside down and to my surprise, the entire content of the jar fell right out. So although the pigment has a rich and creamy texture, it is still a loose powder that needs to be applied with care. In terms of formulation, this stuff is amazing! It applies super opaque and the finish is very shiny but not glittery. "
Superstar" is a warm sandy gold while "
Fireworks" is a smoky maroon-purple. These can be paired with regular powder shadows but I think they also work well on their own as an all-over-the-lid color.

Below is a full eye look I created using the Smokey Nudes palette, the Poudre Glam Face and Body, and the Glam Pigment in "Superstar". I especially love how the Poudre Glam looks as a brow bone highlight. It blends so beautifully and gives the most natural, glowing sheen.

Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | 24K Glam Lipstick |
Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | 24K Glam Lipstick ($25 CAD):
With a pink, translucent bullet scattered with delicate flecks of 24K gold leaf, this is a slick and lightweight tinted lip balm. It applies clear but quickly adjusts to your lips' natural pH and turns pink. The formulation is very emollient but the texture is very thin so the balm wears away within just a couple of hours. Nevertheless, the design is very pretty and even when the moisture wears away, the lips are left with a soft pink tint.

Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Rouge Intense Supreme Glam Celebration Lipsticks |
Lise Watier Holiday 2017 | Rouge Intense Supreme Glam Celebration Lipsticks ($27 CAD each):
Released earlier this year, the Rouge Intense Supreme Lipsticks are getting three brand new shades this holiday with "
Naomi", a bright berry pink, "
Sophia", a sophisticated brown-red, and "
Grace", a unique subdued pumpkin red. Formulation-wise, all three are buttery, lightweight, and super hydrating. Pigmentation-wise, there is a bit of a discrepancy. "Naomi" is opaque in one swipe while "Sophia" is slightly patchy but buildable. "Grace" lies somewhere in between, it's definitely not as pigmented as Naomi but the finish is even and opaque with a few swipes. For a full review of the formulation and swatches of a few more shades, check out my previous post
here.
