Whether or not you want to admit it, summer is coming to an end. However, just because the warmer days are numbered, it doesn't mean that you have to say goodbye to your summer glow.
Guerlain is well known for its beloved Terracotta bronzing range so today I want to introduce you to a couple of new additions to the family that will help maintain your summer tan well into the fall. To read my review and see some swatches of the

Guerlain Terracotta Sun Trio Bronzing Contour Palette ($63 CAD):
Available in three shade combinations, the Terracotta Sun Trio is a matte bronzing powder that doubles as a contouring powder. The Sun Trio is packaged in an elegant translucent amber compact and it contains a total of 10g of product. I have here "
Light", which consists of a soft ivory, a light neutral tan, and a slightly darker bronze. When blended together, the three shades combine to form a soft light tan so this shade is definitely made for the paler gals.
This is my first time trying Guerlain bronzers and I'm very impressed with the silky, light formulation. Because the pigmentation is sheer, the powder is very easy to apply and blend. And thanks to the matte formulation, the palette is great for contouring as well if you don't mind the warmer color. Lastly, the product has the most beautiful scent. With a blend of ylang-ylang, orange blossom, vanilla, and tonka beans, the subtle fragrance definitely elevates the bronzer to whole other level.
Guerlain Terracotta Chic Tropic Bronzing Powder ($80 CAD):
Housed in a large metal tin with a twist-off lid, the limited edition Chic Tropic bronzer comes in a whopping 18g pan. The exquisitely designed powder consists of two gorgeous shades: a soft baby peach and a light natural tan. The surface of the powder has a thin spray of golden shimmer which unfortunately wears off after just a few swipes. So the bronzer is actually just a blend of the peach and the light bronze (which according to Guerlain, is the equivalent of shade 03 of the original Terracotta bronzer).
Formulation-wise, the Chic Tropic Bronzer is very silky and finely-milled. The color is a lot lighter and sheerer than I expected so it's still suitable for lighter skin tones. The powder has a very subtle sheen and because the color is so buildable, you have complete control over how intense the bronzer applies. Despite being on the sheerer side, the formulation is not at all patchy or uneven. Lastly, Chic Tropic shares the same tropical Terracotta signature fragrance as the bronzer trio palette above.
