For Fall 2017, Dior introduces a brand new limited edition product called the Metalizer Eyes & Lips ($32 CAD). Packaging:
The Metalizer Eyes & Lips are packaged in an 8ml squeezable plastic tube equipped with a tiny spout dispenser. The small opening allows precise control of how much product is dispensed so nothing gets wasted. Also, the cream shadows stay relatively fresh as there's a low chance of contamination.
Formulation:
Although advertised as a lip and eye color, the Metalizer Eyes & Lips are essentially a cream-to-powder eyeshadow that features a beautiful metallic finish. Of course, these can be used on the lips, but with the six-shade range being so neutral, I see them more as eye colors. All three shades I have here are highly pigmented and easy-to-blend. However, the Metalizers set really quickly and once they are dry, they stay put and won't budge so you have to work quickly to soften any harsh edges.
I tried blending more than one shade together and found that unless the two colors are very similar (see 528 and 548 below, for example), they won't meld nicely. Therefore, if you were thinking of using several shades together as you would with pressed powder shadows, you'll experience quite a lot of challenge making everything blend. In terms of wear, these fare really well. With that said, the finish isn't completely smudge-proof and will run when it comes in contact with water.
528 Platine Fusion: This is a bright platinum champagne shimmer. It works perfectly as an inner corner or center-of-the-lid highlight.
548 Copper Power: A gorgeous orange copper with a golden sheen, Copper Power works great as an all-over-the-lid color.
678 Bronze Tension: The darkest of the three shades I have here, Bronze Tension is a medium coffee brown. The formulation is super pigmented and opaque.

Overall, I like these Metalizer Eyes & Lips quite a bit because of their creamy and pigmented formulation. While the different shades aren't very easy to use together, they each work well as a simple, all-over-the-lid color.
