Packaging:
The Burberry First Love Palette comes in a sleek gunmetal compact. The outside is etched with the classic Burberry tartan pattern and the inside holds 8g of powder. As you can see, the blush highlighter is pressed with an adorable heart-shaped design. Also included but not pictured are a velvety dust bag and a mini blush brush.
Formulation:
Included in this palette are two distinct shades: a very light pink cream shimmer and a satin medium pink. Because of the way the colors are arranged, it's virtually impossible to use them separately. Therefore, when you sweep across the powder with a brush, you get a combination of the two colors, which swatches like a light baby pink with subtle pearly sparkles. The pigmentation is fairly sheer but even and easy to blend.
Additionally, the powder is silky soft and it has an amazing floral scent that reminds me of Guerlain products. Overall, this is a very pretty light pink blush. Although it's called a blush highlighter, it's definitely more of a blush than a highlighter. The color does contain some shimmers but its effects are still very natural and perfect for anyone looking for natural glowy cheeks!
