Packaging:
The Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette is housed in a stunning plastic bronze-colored rectangular compact. The lid features an exquisite plastic inlay consisting of three-dimensional vertical lines resembling a louver window. Everything about the packaging feels ultra cool and well-made. It's definitely a palette you'd want to check out in person and ooh and aah at the superb execution.

Inside you will find 12 brand new shades of eyeshadows, each weighing at 1.3 grams. You get a large mirror on the underside of the lid and also included is a dual-ended synthetic eyeshadow brush. One end has a fluffy tapered blending brush and the other has a fairly large and fluffy shader brush.

Formulation:
There's no doubt that Urban Decay makes killer eyeshadows and the Naked Heat palette does not disappoint. With the exception of one color ("En Fuego"), every single shade in the palette is pigmented, silky, and highly-blendable. You get seven mattes, four metallic shimmers, and one satin shimmer. To see a breakdown of all the shades, read on below.

Ounce: This is a soft cream with a subtle hint of shimmer. The formulation is on the sheerer side but the texture is superb.
Chaser: A light beige cream, Chaser has a smooth and decently-pigmented formulation.
Sauced: This is a soft matte tan. The formulation is pigmented and non-patchy.
Low Blow: A light matte brown, Low Blow is also pigmented, silky, and even.

Lumbre: Hands down one of the most gorgeous shades from this palette, Lumbre is a unique burnt peach with an alluring golden shimmer. The formulation is very pigmented and buttery.
He Devil: One of my personal favorites, He Devil is a gingerbread brick red with a pigmented and smooth formulation.
Dirty Talk: A burnt copper metallic, Dirty Talk is buttery smooth and very nicely pigmented.
Scorched: This is a gorgeous bronze red metallic with a hint of golden shimmers. The pigmentation is phenomenal and the texture is creamy and smooth.

Cayenne: This is a gingerbread brown matte with a decently pigmented and silky formulation.
En Fuego: A dark brick brown, En Fuego is unfortunately chalky and dry. The formulation is quite sheer as well so I really had to build up the color in the swatches below.
Ashes: A dark chocolate brown, Ashes has a decently pigmented and matte finish.
Ember: Another favorite of mine, Ember is a unique dark bronzy brown metallic. The formulation is super buttery and pigmented.

Below is a look I created using the shades "Ounce", "He Devil", "Dirty Talk", "Lumbre" and "Ember". I also the two eyeliners from the Naked Heat Collection, which I will review as soon as I get a chance. As you can see, the shades complement each other just wonderfully. With that said, I would have preferred to have a slightly brighter orange or gold to really provide that extra pop of color on the middle of my lid.
