Last month, Korean beauty online retailer Althea Korea reached out to me and asked me to do an unboxing post. Because I love Korean beauty products, there was no way for me to say no, so today I want to share with you my $100 USD haul. At Althea Korean, the pricing is very competitive so your dollar goes a long, long way. Also, as a first-time time customer, you automatically get $10 off of your purchase. To see all the stuff I picked up for only $100 USD, click......
Dr. Althea | Sun Cushion & Primer ($16.75 USD):
This is a cushion compact that contains not a foundation but an SPF 50+ sunscreen primer. Although the packaging says the shade is "Natural Ivory", it's actually completely white, just like a normal sunscreen. I've been using this pretty regularly for the last few weeks and will be sharing a full review with you guys in the near future.
ABBAMART | Believe It Powder Pact ($11.50 USD):
IOPE | Air Cushion Matte Longwear SPF 50+ with Refill ($32.50 USD):
It has taken me a long time to warm up to cushion foundations but I'm getting more and more used to them. While browsing Althea, I saw that IOPE has quite a variety of cushion foundations and one has a matte finish. Because I have oily skin, anything matte is music to my ears. I got the shade "N21" and the formulation also has an SPF of 50+. Additionally, the product comes with an extra refill, so you are definitely getting your money's worth!
Too Cool for School | After School BB Foundation Lunch Box ($17 USD):
Alright, so I may or may not have gotten this product simply because of the adorable packaging... This is a three in one product with a BB cream, a concealer, and a highlighter, all neatly tucked into one travel-friendly bottle. I got the shade #2, and Althea also carries shade #3. I will definitely be writing a full review of this one as well, simply because it's too cute and unique to ignore.
Dear, Klairs | Creamy & Natural Fit Concealer ($14 USD):
Since I ran out of my beloved Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, I've been on the look out for a new undereye concealer. Therefore, I decided to take a gamble and try one from Dear, Klairs. So far, the formulation is sheerer than expected but I do like the finish and the wear.
Beauty People | Capsule Powder Multi Brow Tint ($10 USD):
I've really enjoyed the Beauty People Miss 100 Super Waterproof Gel Eyeliner so I was definitely curious in trying more products from the brand. This is described as a powder brow tint infused with water capsules. The idea of the concept definitely won me over but so far I've had no luck with the product... I'll probably review this product on its own, simply because it was just a huge dud.
Beauty People | Waterproof Formula Auto Brow Pencil ($9 USD):
Eyebrow pencils are a must for me so I decided to try one from Beauty People. Again, I'm not sure I'm liking the formulation, which is a tad too soft and creamy.
the SAEM | Sebum-Removing Cotton Swab ($2.50 USD):
This is a dual-ended cotton swab with a little blackhead remover. I got one of these from a Korean acne treatment kit quite a long time ago and really like how effective it is at removing blackheads and whiteheads.
It's My | It's My Cushion Puff ($1.25 USD):
I regularly wash my cushion puffs, so over time, they get pretty beat up. My local Daiso carries lots of makeup sponges and puffs but they don't have any legitimate cushion foundation puffs so I picked this one up from It's My, which also offers unique empty cushion foundation cases you can use with cushion refills from other brands.
So that is my $100 haul from Althea Korea! Honestly, I'm still shocked at how much product I could fit into the $100 budget. If you've ever been to Sephora, you know that $100 gets you at most three things. Additionally, I was very impressed with Althea's product range. From brands like Apieu, Laneige, Holika Holika, the site carries just about everything and the pricing is definitely cheaper than what you will find in North America. Therefore, definitely check out the site if you have a soft spot for Korean beauty product!

ABBAMART | Believe It Powder Pact ($11.50 USD):
Since finishing my Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation, I've been in search of a new powder foundation, and preferably one with some SPF. Western powder foundations rarely include SPF in their formulation so I was very glad to have found this one (SPF 30). The shade I got is "21 Ivory" but as far as I know, this is the only shade that's available on Althea. I will be sharing an individual review of this product as well.
