Packaging:
The NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powders are housed in a very simple black compact with a clear plastic lid. The packaging is nothing too fancy but you get a generous 6g of product.

NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder | 01 Twilight Tint

Formulation:
Available in five shades, the Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powders are finely-milled highlighting powders with a silky and creamy formulation. The pigmentation is semi-sheer but very buildable. You can go for a subtle glow or a full-on strobing effect. Additionally, I feel that the shades can easily be used as eyeshadows so I also swatched them over a black base to show you how they would look.

01 Twilight Tint: An icy pearl shimmer with a subtle blue sheen, Twilight Tint is super creamy and blendable.
02 Lavender Steel: This is a sheer pearlescent shimmer with a subtle hint of pink. The shade would work great for those with a cool undertone.
03 Crushed Bloom: A coppery peach shimmer, Crushed Bloom is not my personal shade selection for a cheek highlighter. It's a bit too bronze-y for a highlighter and too shimmery to work as a bronzer. Ironically, this shade got totally crushed during shipping.
04 Snow Rose: This is warm pearlescent shimmer with a rosy golden sheen, it's pretty much the warmer version of Lavender Steel.
05 Synthetica: Another interesting shade, Synthetica is a pigmented orange shimmer with a golden sheen. I can see this working well for someone with a very deep complexion. However, on lighter skin tones the shade is just too orange to work as a highlighter
