This year, the brand is steering away from the more feminine floral patterns and opted for a simple black and white graphic design. Givenchy Couture Edition 2017 Prisme Libre Loose Powder ($69 CAD):
A loose setting powder made up of four different shades kept in separate compartments, the Prisme Libre Loose Powder mixes together to form a lightweight, brightening, and blurring powder with just the tiniest hint of lavender. The 2017 Couture Edition packaging features a much simpler design as compared to the previous years. The lid is covered with genuine black leather and printed in white are tiny little crosses. Givenchy Couture Edition 2017 Le Rouge Lipstick in "315 Framboise Velours" ($45 CAD):
Housed in a reflective silver bullet enveloped in genuine leather printed with minimalist black and white pattern identical to that of the Prisme Libre Loose Powder, the Couture Edition 2017 Le Rouge Lipstick is in the shade "315 Framboise Velours". This is a stunning full coverage berry with a lovely satin finish. The formulation is incredibly lightweight, creamy, and silky. The wear is pretty decent but nothing extraordinary. Because the texture is so light and creamy, it doesn't cling super well to the lips although it is very moisturizing and comfortable.
