Since I've been introduced to Farmacy last year, I've been very impressed with everything I've tried. So today I wanted to share with you two new discoveries from the brand. To read my thoughts on the Eye Dew Total Eye Cream ($49 CAD) and the Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask ($32 CAD for 3), click.......
Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream ($49 CAD):
A very lightweight eye cream with an almost gel-like formulation, even thinner than the Kiehl's Avocado eye cream (reviewed here), the Farmacy Eye Dew is formulated with a plethora of skin-loving ingredients. It's got baobab fruit oil, ribose, white bird of paradise seed extract, and of course, the Farmacy-exclusive Echinacea GreenEnvy extract, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Housed in an adorable nature-inspired jar, the Eye Dew is cooling, moisturizing, and refreshing. I've gotten used to richer and thicker eye creams in these winter month so I found the formulation to be a bit too light and not nourishing enough. However, this eye cream will probably be great for the summer months when I want something a bit lighter and fresher.
Farmacy Clear Day Coconut Gel Face Mask Medley ($32 CAD):
Made with coconut jelly (and not natural fibers), these bio-cellulose sheet masks are a bit tricky to apply but they adhere beautifully onto the face, hugging every nook and cranny. In this trio pack, you get the "Deep Moisture" mask with cucumber extract, the "Brightening" mask with purple broccoli extract, and the "Soothing" mask with kale extract. Of course, all three are infused with the Farmacy patent-protected Echinacea GreenEnvy extract.
I didn't notice a big difference between the three masks but each of them left my skin super hydrated and conditioned. The coconut jelly sheet mask does a great job at holding onto the serum, allowing a longer pampering session. Additionally, the masks come with quite a bit of extra serum in the bag. So what I actually do is that when the coconut jelly starts to dry out on my face, I slather more serum onto the mask to rehydrate it. At more than $10 CAD a sheet, these Farmacy Coconut Gel Masks are pricey indeed but they are definitely superior to your regular fiber sheet masks.
