Packaging:
Both the Strobe & Sculpt and Strobe & Bronze palettes come in simple green plastic compacts with a clear see-through lid. The compacts are very tightly shut so they are unfortunately a bit difficult to open. In each palette, you get a total of six powders, each weighing at 1.8g.
Formulation:
Overall, the powders in these two palettes are nicely pigmented, smooth, and creamy. In terms of quality, these feel a lot nicer than the Pixi + itsjudytime eyeshadows as none of the matte shades are super patchy or sheer. The color scheme leans towards the warmer spectrum so I wouldn't recommend these for pale or cool skin tones. The palettes have a nice mix of mattes and shimmers so even though one is intended for bronzing and the other sculpting, both can be used for contouring and bronzing (or even as eyeshadows). See below for a breakdown of each palette.
Pixi + Maryam Maquillage Strobe & Bronze Palette ($20 USD):
Empress: This is a light pink champagne shimmer. The formulation is very buttery and smooth.
Highline: This is a golden peach. The formulation is pretty fallout-prone. The pigmentation is also on the sheerer side.
City Kitty: A matte light bronze, City Kitty is decently pigmented. The powder has a lot of kickoff but it blends nicely with no patchiness.
Statuesque: This is a medium neutral brown matte. Again, the formulation is very even and blendable.
917: A unique light rose-brown shimmer, 917 is creamy and pigmented.
Lex: This is a gorgeous warm gold that's rich and pigmented.
Pixi + Maryam Maquillage Strobe & Sculpt Palette ($20 USD):
Baby Chick: This is a soft baby yellow. The formulation is sheer but the texture is creamy.
Caviar Dreams: A soft peach shimmer, Caviar Dreams is super rich and pigmented. My swatches make it appear a bit patchy but the application is very smooth and even.
Honey-Bunny: This is a soft gold shimmer. The color is quite sparkly as compared to the other shimmers in the two palettes but the texture is pretty smooth and creamy.
Minx: A warm bronze with a tiny sprinkling of silver sparkles, Minx is very smooth and soft.
Bo$$Lady: This is a matte dark brown. The formulation is nice and even.
Queen: A warm bark brown, Queen is another very creamy and smooth matte.
Pixi + Maryam Maquillage Strobe & Sculpt Brush ($14 USD):
In addition to the two palettes, Pixi + Maryam Maquillage also created a lovely dual-ended brush. Made with vegan synthetic fibers, the tapered end is designed for highlighting while the flattened dome end is intended for contouring. The bristles are very soft and the overall design is sleek yet sturdy.
