Lately all we've been seeing are matte lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, or whatever other new "innovative" formulation various brands have been putting out. So it's beyond lovely to see some good old classic cream lipsticks from
Lise Watier. Infused with antioxidant-rich Labrador tea extracts, the new
Rouge Intense Supreme Lipsticks ($27 CAD) promise an intense color payoff and a comfortable wear. Today I have a few shades swatched and reviewed for you. To read on, click.......

Packaging:
The Lise Watier Rouge Supreme Lipsticks are housed in a long and shiny gunmetal gray tube. The tip is flattened instead of tapered, which makes application a bit trickier. The packaging has a nice weight to it and the caps are secured with a snazzy magnetic closure, both adding an extra dash of luxury.

Formulation:
Infused with Lise Watier's famed Labrador tea extracts which are high in antioxidants, the Rouge Intense Supreme lipsticks feature a very light yet very pigmented formulation. The colors have a smooth and slick texture and the finish has a flattering natural sheen. The wear is pretty good despite the moisturizing finish, although the light shades definitely need to be retouched throughout the day. If you like a saturated coverage and a very lightweight texture that's hydrating and slick, then the Rouge Intense Supreme are pretty much perfect! Also, the shade selection is killer as well! You got your classic bolds and your everyday nudes and most of them are quite unique and nuanced. See below for a breakdown of following seven shades.

Mary: This is a unique and sophisticated rich marsala. The pigmentation is very nice but I would recommend using a lip liner to ensure a very clean line.
Zoe: A soft neutral pink, Zoe is very pigmented and rich despite being such a light color.
Kelly: Perhaps my favorite out of the bunch, Kelly is a beautiful mauve-rose. The pigmentation is great and I can see myself wearing this on a regular basis.
Brooklyn: A rich creamy plum, Brooklyn is pigmented but just a tad patchy.
Jade: A bright mandarin orange, Jade is bold and opaque.
Suzan: This is a unique red with a hint of pink. The formulation is pigmented but I had a bit of trouble getting a clean outline. Definitely use a lip liner to obtain the perfect application.
Caroline: A vampy deep wine, Caroline is noticeably patchy so I would recommend filling in your entire lips with a similar liner color first.
