Packaging:
The bareMinerals GEN NUDE Radiant Lipsticks come in simple matte black tubes. The packaging isn't very flashy or unique but it does feel nice and hefty in the hand. The lipstick has a flattened tip and because the formulation is very soft and melty, the tip and sides will get easily dented and smooshed.
Formulation:
Made with butters of shea, cocoa, and mango, the GEN NUDE Radiant Lipsticks have a very slick formulation that's both moisturizing and lightweight. These lipsticks are definitely sheerer than I expected but the coverage they provide is very even. The colors glide beautifully across the lips and even the lighter shade don't much accentuate fine lines or dry patches. With that said, these lipsticks aren't very long-lasting. The buttery-slick texture easily transfers and with only some light drinking or eating the color will disappear. Nevertheless, if you like everyday neutrals that are comfortable and easy to apply, then definitely check out this collection and its 20-shade color selection. Be warned, however, that the color description and product shots found online aren't very accurate. I highly encourage that you go in stores and swatch these in person before buying!
XOX: This is a sheer soft rose that appears much warmer on my lips than it does on my arms. Depending on your natural lip color, it may wear more true to how it looks in the tube.
Heaven: Heaven, much like XOX, swatched a lot warmer on my lips. The shade is described as a rose brown but it actually looks more neutral nude than rosy.
Panko: Hands down my favorite shade out of the bunch, Panko is a spiced coral that looks extra plump and shiny on the lips. I'm usually not a fan of warmer nudes but this one really surprised me!
Strip: Described as a rich rosy brown, Strip wears more like a warm beige. The formulation is sheer but not super patchy.
