The 10th Anniversary Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation comes in a beautiful clear acrylic compact. The lid is covered with a dazzling dash of glitters and crystals and you get a small mirror on the inside. Overall, the compact is very well designed; it's glamorous and luxurious all at the same tine.
Formulation:
With encapsulated Swiss Alps mineral water and extracts of Waltheria leaves that brightens the skin, this powder foundation has a very smooth and pigmented formulation. Although the texture doesn't feel as soft and silky as some of the other powder foundations I've tried in the past, the powder actually provides a really nice coverage (medium-high) and finish. The shade "Light" works well on my NC20 skin tone and the powder has a nice brightening undertone that makes my complexion appear a lot more radiant. I like the inclusion of the SPF 15 and the fact that the powder doesn't get super messy and dusty is a big plus as well. Overall, I am definitely digging this powder foundation; the limited edition compact is definitely a selling point but I would recommend it even in its original packaging.
Availability:
Pur is available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart and shoppersdrugmart.ca in Canada. It is also available at www.purcosmetics.com outside of Canada.
In addition to The Perfect Matte Liquid Lipstick Set, Pur also released a limited edition 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation ($42 CAD) in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
