Packaging:
The Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur is a simple lip crayon housed in a sleek and shiny black packaging. The crayon is twist-up and retractable and the tip has a slight point. The formulation is pretty soft so the tip dulls very quickly. I would recommend using a lip brush for the bolder colors to obtain a precise application.
Formulation:
The Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur has a super slick and lightweight formulation that's surprisingly pigmented. Despite having such a thin and light texture, the lip crayon feels incredibly rich and cushioning on the lips. The color glides beautifully across the lip contours, smoothing out any fine lines and wrinkles.
N°5 Rouge is a stunning bright red that's just drenched with pigments while
N°3 Rose Clair is a shimmery light pink.

The lip crayons are not transfer- or smudge-proof so you are getting an average wear. Also because the formulation is so slick, you may experience a bit of bleeding, especially for darker shades like N°5 Rouge. Just about every brand has a lip crayon line nowadays but Chanel has really knocked it out of the park with the Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur range. The formulation isn't perfect but it's pretty darn impressive. If you are a fan of lip crayons (or just a good lip color), then definitely check these out!
