Packaging:
The Winter 2016 Pure Dimensions Eye Palettes are housed in a shiny and reflective silver compact with a clear convex lid. The palette includes four 0.6g shades, each pressed with a delicate pattern. The "Maui Garden" has a swirl pattern, the "Moroccan Dunes" has a soft wave pattern, and the "Paris Starlight" has a geometric triangle design. Overall I think the shadows alone are really gorgeous with their intricate patterns but the palette itself feels a bit flimsy and cheap, especially considering that these are $46 CAD each.

Mary Kay Winter 2016 Pure Dimensions Eye Palette | Maui Garden |
Mary Kay Pure Dimensions Eye Palette in "Maui Gardens":
Included in this quad is a creamy champagne gold, a khaki brown, a dark hunter green, and a deep sapphire. All four shades have a fine satiny shimmer, nothing too glittery or chunky. These Pure Dimensions shadows have a baked texture that's surprisingly silky and rich. In terms of pigmentation, all four shades are perfection; you can pretty much get an opaque coverage with just a light swipe.

Mary Kay Winter 2016 Pure Dimensions Eye Palette | Moroccan Dunes |
Mary Kay Pure Dimensions Eye Palette in "Moroccan Dunes":
With the most natural color selection out of the three palettes, "Moroccan Dunes" consists of a pale pearl, a soft peach-pink, a mauve-brown, and a soft taupe. All four of these are soft satin shimmers. In comparison to the last palette, the shadows here are definitely tamer and less intense but the pigmentation is still very good.

Mary Kay winter 2016 Pure Dimensions Eye Palette | Paris Starlight |
Mary Kay Pure Dimensions Eye Palette in "Paris Starlight":
Last but not least is this party-ready quad featuring an intense grey silver shimmer, a violet purple shimmer, a pale gold shimmer, and a black satin with iridescent sparkles. All four shades are richly pigmented and super silky. I like how even though this quad includes your classic gold and silver, there's also a bit of purple and sparkles thrown in to mix up the palette.

Overall I think these are absolutely amazing eyeshadows from Mary Kay. Each and every shade is silky and pigmented and the color selection ranges from neutrals to jewel tones to more fun party colors. Some may be disappointed by the lack of matte shades but as a shimmer/satin fan myself, these are totally up my alley. With that said, I think the $46 CAD price point is a bit unreasonable, considering that the
Fall 2016 palette (which included five shades), was only $26 CAD. I do think these shadows are amazing but at such a substantial price point, I would have at least expected a slightly more luxurious packaging.
