The Light Festival palette comes in a travel-friendly black compact with a clear lid. There is a total of nine mini pressed shadows weighing at 0.8 grams each.

Formulation:
MAC eye palettes are very hit and miss but this Light Festival Eyeshadow X 9 is very nice! First up we have a soft satin cream, a sheer warm gold, and a rich copper orange metallic. The cream and the gold is quite sheer but the copper is very rich and pigmented.

Next up we have a burnt orange-red metallic, a metallic red, and a matte dark brown. The first two of the three are very intense and full-coverage but the brown is a tad patchy and sheer.

Last but not least we have a shimmery medium green, a shimmery sapphire, and a matte black (the sparkles are shimmers left over on my fingers from swatching the previous shades). Again, the two shimmers are nicely pigmented and creamy while the black is very sheer and chalky. Overall, this is a fantastic palette. If you love bold jewel tones and pretty shimmers and metallics, then this is a great option!
