Housed in a multi-faceted, diamond-shaped glass bottle tinted with a smokey veil, the Lancome La Nuit Tresor Caresse has a delicate tulle rose tied around its neck. The bottle doesn't stand straight up but it rests securely on its side. The actual perfume itself is also tinted with a soft pink hue.

Opening immediately with an alluring musk and smoky peppercorns, La Nuit Tresor Caress is quite a thick and intense night time fragrance. Even though patchouli is not listed in the Lancome website description, I can definitely smell it. Interestingly, the scent mellows out a bit after half or so hours to reveal the lighter bergamot and pretty rose. Nevertheless, the fragrance is still heavy. In fact, this reminds me a bit of Angel from Thierry Mugler, as did the original La Nuit Tresor. Admittedly, La Nuit Tresor Caresse is lighter than the original La Nuit Tresor, so if you aren't a fan of patchouli combined with very sweet accords, then this isn't for you. However, if you like earthy and you like candy sweet with just a dash of fruitiness, then do check this out!
