The La Petite Robe Noire Intense comes in a gorgeous glass bottle with swirly details on both the bottle and the cap. The bottle has a mysterious black ombre tint and printed is a sexy little black halter dress. The cap has a delicate grosgrain ribbon tied around its neck and the fragrance itself is tinted a light shade of blue.

Upon the first whiff, La Petite Robe Noire Intense smells very sweet and candy-like. Almost instantaneously, however, the sweetness fades away to reveal a more sharp and citrusy bergamot. After a few minutes, the citrus mellows out and transitions into the elegant rose. I get soft whiffs of vanilla but not so much the patchouli which I am not mad about. Finally, as the scent mostly wears off, I detect an earthy and woody whiff of sandalwood.
Top Notes: Bergamot, candyfloss, bilberry.
Heart Notes: Bulgarian rose.
Base Notes: Musk, sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla.
My overall impression of La Petite Robe Noire Intense is very positive. I don't find it to be very unique and the wear is a bit short. However, it's a very youthful yet elegant fragrance. I like how it transitions and changes noticeably as time progresses and as always with Guerlain fragrances, the quality of the ingredients used really shines through in their pure and unadulterated smell.
