Charlotte Tilbury has a brand new lipstick collection with 12 gorgeous shades inspired by and created in collaboration with some of the hottest female celebrities in the world.
The Hot Lips Lipsticks ($38 CAD each) are available now in stores and

Packaging:
The new Hot Lips Lipstick from Charlotte comes in the same tube as the
Matte Revolution &
K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks. The package has a shiny rose gold finish and there are decorative ridges running along the length. The lipstick tip has a very sculpted, squarish shape. It looks super cool but not great for a precise application; I had to go in with a lip brush to make sure all my edges are nicely lined. Lastly, the lipsticks have a cute smooch etching on the side.

Formulation:
Both shades I have here feature a satin finish. Unlike the Matte Revolution range, though, the formulation of these are a bit sheer and thin. The silicone-y texture is not great at masking fine lines either. For the swatches below, I had to use quite a thick layer to prevent my lips from looking crease-y and dry.

The formulation doesn't feel drying but the color is simply not as cushioning as I would prefer. "
Miranda May" is a bright coral with very subtle golden sparkles and "
Secret Salma" is a lovely rosy mauve. Interestingly, because the pigmentation of the lipsticks isn't super opaque, "Secret Salma" appears quite warm on my lips as my natural lip color peeks through. Overall, I really didn't love these as much as I did with the previous Tilbury lipstick ranges. The colors are lovely but the texture is just not as cushioning or as pigmented as I would have liked.
