Like all Nudestix products, the Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balms come in a nice metal tin with a mirror on the underside of the lid. The lip color comes in a crayon form. Unfortunately, the product is not twist-up or retractable but included in each tin is a very nice wide-barrel sharpener.

The Nudestix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm features a very pigmented and slick formulation. The product is highly moisturizing and the finish is very shiny. I found the formulation slightly tacky but given the beautiful finish, I'm not too bothered. Another issue I have with the product is how soft it is. The tips of both "Siren" and "Wicked" broke off the first time I tried using them, and I was being very careful. It's not a deal-breaker but you really can't sharpen these too much or they will inevitably break off.
Lastly, I really can't see myself using these on my cheeks as a blush. The shiny formulation simply doesn't suit my already oily skin. With that said, I think these are some pretty darn good lip colors. Perhaps these would benefit with a modified packaging but all in all, the formulation and the colors are great.

Siren: Beautiful bright red with a subtle shimmer.
Wicked: Gorgeous wine-red. This shade is very pigmented but it's also a tad patchy. I had to layer on quite a few swipes to ensure an even color.
