The Color Jolts come in simple squeeze-tubes very much similar to the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks. The tubes are much smaller, though, at 6.4ml each (as compared to 12ml). The doe-foot applicator has a little hole in the middle that allows the product to come out. The product is advertised as "no brush needed" but if you want a really precise application, it's best to use a lip brush.

Aside from the similar packaging, the formulation of these Maybelline Color Jolts also reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks. Featuring a liquid formulation that's packed with pigments, the Color Jolts are moisturizing and non-sticky on the lips. The product doesn't set and will smudge and transfer, so it's a tad high-maintenance. You can certainly apply a thin layer but the finish won't be as even and shiny. All in all, these are pretty much identical to the Too Faced Melted lipsticks and I am happy that they are offered at a lower price point. These provide a stunning pop of color but given the high-maintenance wear, they don't make very good everyday lip colors.
10 Never Bare: This is a neutral baby pink, not a super flattering color on most but it's quite eye-catching. The formulation is a bit uneven but with a thick application I can get a mostly opaque coverage.
30 Red-dy Or Not: This is a dark red with a very rich and pigmented formulation. It is super easy to work with and the coverage is flawless.
25 Talk Back Red: This is a super bright pinky red with almost a hint of coral. This formulation is a pigmented but slightly patchy. The color settled into the fine lines so I had to apply quite a thick layer for a full coverage.
