Packaging:
The Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette comes in a simple black plastic compact. The lid is clear so you can easily see into the shadows and included is a duo-ended sponge-tipped applicator. Included are 12 shadows and they each weigh at 1.17 grams, which is a decent amount. This palette is nothing fancy, but given the affordable prices, I am not too caught up on its simplicity.

Formulation:
Included in the palette are three mattes and nine shimmery metallics. All three mattes are very smooth and decently pigmented. They are slightly powdery but overall not too bad. The shimmery metallics, on the other hand, are super rich and pigmented. All the shades are super intense; even a light swipe provides an opaque coverage. A few of the shades are a bit fallout-prone but the overall color selection is beautiful; there is a nice variation of warm rose golds and taupe-y metallics.
