MAC Star Trek Collection | Pressed Pigment Eyeshadows |
MAC Star Trek Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow ($27.50 CAD):
These eyeshadows are housed in a 3-gram round compact with a clear lid embossed with the Starfleet insignia and the number "50" to commemorate the 50th anniversary. The inner rim of the packaging has a shiny silver finish (as opposed to the traditional all-black design), which makes everything look just a bit more futuristic.

MAC Star Trek Collection | Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow in "To Boldly Go" |

MAC Star Trek Collection | Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow in "Midnight" |
All three shades I have here are super shimmery and the formulation is buttery and smooth beyond belief. "
The Naked Time" is a cool-tone gold. This one is mostly shimmers and sparkles, so it probably works best as a glitter topper. The formulation of this particular shade reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Stardust shadows.
"
To Boldly Go" is a stunning soft copper shimmer. The color is just packed with pigments and shimmers. Lastly, "
Midnight" is a shimmery dark blue in a black base. I was afraid that this one was going to be a bit sheer but I was pleasantly surprised. Although not as intense as "To Boldly Go", the color builds to an opaque coverage in just a couple of swipes.

MAC Star Trek Collection | Trip the Light Fantastic Powder in "Highly Illogical" |
MAC Star Trek Trip the Light Fantastic Powder ($39.50 CAD):
This is a gorgeous cheek powder packaged in a large round compact with a clear lid, also embossed with the Starfleet insignia. The shade "Highly Illogical" is made with swirls of gold, plum, and champagne shimmers. You get a total of 6.5 grams of product and the formulation is very soft and fine. The texture is slightly drier compared to your usual powder, taking on a more baked-powder feel.
The beautiful streaks of color provide a nicely pigmented but easy-to-wear peachy bronze. I think this shade can work as a blush, a highlighter, or even a subtle bronzer for those with fairer skin.
