Packaging:
The L'Oreal La Palette Lips come in very simple black rectangular compact. The lid has a clear window and the underside has a small strip of mirror. Each palette holds five cream lip products in pans; they each weigh at about 0.8 grams. Included is a small lip brush. The quality is actually pretty decent, it works well at applying the lip colors.

Formulation:
The lip colors in the La Palette Lips feature a slick, shiny, and non-sticky cream formulation. The shades are all semi-sheer but they are all buildable. "
02 Nude" holds a soft rose brown, two similar peach nudes, a mauve cream, and a medium chocolate brown.

"01 Ruby" has a deep red, a true red, a bold coral, a bright orange, and a terra cotta red.

The colors can be worn alone or blended with each other to create more dimensions on the lips. Below are two looks I did using the palettes. For the "nude" look, I used the dark brown, the rose brown, and the soft peach. For the "ruby" look, I used the deep red, the true red, and the bright coral. I actually really like the colors in both palettes but lip colors in pans just aren't my favorite. They simply take longer to apply but I was able to really blend and customize the colors to achieve my desired look.
