Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Cleansing Gel ($27 CAD):
Formulated with bamboo charcoal, this translucent black cleanser lathers really well to form a nice foam. The cleanser has no fragrance (as is with most Clinique products) and it leaves the skin super nice and clean (not at all drying). The product is also infused with caffeine, which as an anti-irritant to soothe the skin. I really enjoy using this with my cleansing brush as the tiny bubbles does a really good job at reaching every crevice of the skin.

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Cleansing Gel

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub ($32 CAD):
A kaolin-based mask also formulated with bamboo charcoal designed to absorb impurities from the skin, this mask sets very quickly. So those that prefer a quick mask in the morning will find this very useful. The mask also has a small scattering of silica bits for a gentle exfoliation, making this a bit of a two-in-one product. Lastly, despite being quick-drying, the mask is quite easy to remove.
