Hey everyone, I hope your day is going well! Today I want to share with you a sneak-peek of a great eyeshadow quad coming this fall from Clarins (available starting August 1st). Available in a total of three color selections, the 4-Color Eyeshadow Palette ($43 CAD) features reformulated shadows enriched with vegetal extracts and carnauba wax. Clarins 4-Color Shadow Palette in "01 Nude"

Packaging:
The Clarins 4-Color Shadow Palette comes in a very sleek and travel-friendly reflective pale gold compact. The four shadows total 6.9 grams and included is a dual-ended sponge applicator. These new palettes are essentially the same as the current Eye Quartet Mineral Palettes, only packaged slightly differently. I'm glad that Clarins is slowly phasing away from the cardboard shadow palettes, which always wear and dent more easily compared to these nice plastic compacts.

Formulation:
"01 Nude" (there are two other shade combos- 02 Rosewood and 03 Brown) includes a pale golden beige shimmer, a soft rosy nude shimmer, a taupe shimmer, and a dark satin brown. All four shadows, including the satin, are buttery rich and pigmented. I love how cushiony the shadows feel when I wipe my fingertip across the colors. The shadows are designed to be applied either wet or dry but the pigmentation is great enough that a dry application will achieve an intense look. Clarins has been consistently making great shadows and this palette is the perfect example of their impressive quality and color selections.
