Named the "cosmic pebble", the Angel Muse bottle has a flattened elliptical shape. The inner glass center, etched with a pretty star design, is surrounded by a shiny silver rim. The perfume itself is tinted with a rosy tea color and the perfume bottle is refillable (available at select Mugler counters). Unfortunately, the bottle does not stand on its own, rather lying flat on its side; however, it certainly is very unique and exquisite.

If you've ever smelled the original Thierry Mugler Angel (read my full review here), you know it's a one-of-a-kind scent that you will never forget. It's without a doubt a love-it or hate-it fragrance for anyone who's ever had a whiff. Like Angel, Angel Muse also has the same intoxicating vibe; however, Muse is a more subdued version, albeit still very strong.
Top Notes: Pink peppercorn, grapefruit.
Heart Notes: Hazelnut cream.
Base Notes: Vetiver, patchouli.
This perfume has a very sweet, almost candy-like profile due to the hazelnut cream. Mixed with the vetiver and patchouli though, the sweetness is tinged with a contrasting earthiness. Although boasting a much smaller list of notes, Angel Muse embodies the essence of the original Angel. However, it has just a bit more fruity freshness from the grapefruit. To me, this scent is essentially baby Angel. If you loved the original you will adore this for a more casual and playful occasion and if you found the original a bit too intense then you may really dig this one. However, if Angel was a no-no for you then I don't think Angel Muse will change your mind about this iconic and unapologetically bold scent.
