Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette

Packaging:
The Skin Twinkle Lighting Platte comes in a sleek rectangular palette. The palette itself is gold but the front has a blue wave print. I usually love colorful prints but the blue wave design on this palette feels a bit old-fashioned, it kind of reminds me of bad calendar art from the 90's. The inside of the palette has a large mirror and the three different shades total 13.8 grams.

Formulation:
"Sunlight" is a beautiful cool-tone champane shimmer and "Moonlight" is a subtle warm peach tan shimmer. Both shades are absolutely stunning; the formulation is rich and buttery, super pigmented and easy to apply. The middle shade, "Filtered Light", is a satin-y pale beige nude. Unfortuntely, the formulation of this shade is just not there. The texture is super dry, chalky, and sheer. I actually couldn't even get it to show up on my arm swatches, hence why there is no picture below. I think if "Filtered Light" was better formulated, this palette would have been a hit. But with one out of three shades being so difficult to work with, the value of the palette really goes down.
