Top Notes: Dates, peony, white pepper.
Heart Notes: Orris, ylang-ylang, jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose.
Base Notes: Tonka beans, leather, woody notes, vetiver.
Air of Style from MAC is a very sweet floral scent. Unlike most perfumes, it doesn't open with a citrus, fruity accord but instead it's a floral through and through. A bit of sweet, vanilla, and candy notes come through from the tonka beans and the other base notes add a bit of warmth but this is definitely a scent for the floral fans. It's worth noting that this scent is very concentrated, even the tiniest spritz gives a really strong sillage that lasts quite well. I think that if you prefer a light and refreshing scents like me, Air of Style may not be for you. But for those looking for a sweet floral that's strong and intoxicating, then Air of Style is definitely worth checking out.
