For Summer 2016, Chanel has a new Collection called Dans La Lumière de l'Été (In The Light of Summer). The collection includes several brand new limited edition Le Vernis ($32 CAD) shades and today I have a beautiful trio to share with you. To see some more swatches and my review, click.......
536 Emeraude:
A beautiful deep forest green with subtle light green shimmers, Emeraude is very rich and pigmented. The polish is opaque in two coats although I had a bit of trouble working with the Le Vernis brushes. The brush is very full and bushy and the bristles are a just a bit too splayed out for a precise application.

This is a beautiful saturated orange-red cream; the formulation is super pigmented and smooth. This bright and cheery shade is so great for summer!
Chanel Le Vernis in "534 Espadrilles", two coats with no top coat. |
A pale gold frosty shimmer, Canotier has a pigmented and lovely formulation. Despite being a frost, the color applies smoothly with minimal streaking.
