Packaging:
All Nudestix products come in a cute matte black metal tin. The Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencils are simple chubby crayons that need to be manually sharpened. I wish these were twist-ups but Nudestix did include a wide-barrel sharpener with each pencil.

Formulation:
The Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencils have a creamy formulation with a satin-y matte finish. I have here two shades and they differed quite a bit in terms of formulation. Both have a really great wear; the colors aren't overly drying but they cling well to the lips. I personally wouldn't use these on my cheeks just because I prefer powder blushes but I think the formulation is blendable enough to be used as a blush.

Raven: This is a dark wine red with subtle shimmers. The formulation is strangely tacky and patchy. The application is very uneven and the color easily transfers between my upper and lower lip when I press my lips together. Although this color is quite smudge and transfer-proof, it just doesn't work for me. The color is very beautiful but the formulation is quite flawed.
Belle: A pretty neutral nude with some very subtle shimmers, "Belle" was surprisingly easy to work with. Unlike "Raven", this shade is smooth and easy-to-apply. Although this is a very light shade, the coverage is opaque and even. The wear is also very nice- four to five hours with minimal eating/drinking.
