MAC Studio Eye Gloss in "Money Honey" ($26 CAD):

Just as its name suggests, this is a gloss for the eyelids. The formulation clings very well to the skin but it does not set at all, so it's not awfully practical for everyday use. You can top this with a powder shadow or use this as a shadow topper. When using over a base shadow, make sure you use a tapping motion to apply or it will move the shadow underneath, given how tacky the formulation is. To me, this is definitely one of those special occasions or editorial makeup item as it's just not very practical for the everyday.

MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Color Stick ($26 CAD):
Packaged in a chubby twist-up and retractable eyeshadow crayon, the Pro Longwear Waterproof Color Sticks are available in a crazy wide array of shade options. I have here "
Cinder Black", a simple carbon black, and "
Soft Steel", a soft taupe shimmer.

Richly pigmented and buttery smooth, these eyeshadow pencils apply like a dream and just as its name promises, the wear is pretty phenomenal. The formulation is 100% waterproof and once it's set, it will not budge! The colors are highly resistant to smudging so unless you have very oily lids, you should get a flawless wear. The colors set very quickly, so they aren't as easy to blend; in fact, I actually prefer these as liners given how well they wear. My only critique is that I wish these included mini-sharpeners that I can use to keep the tips sharp.
