Both the Pop Oil and Pop Lacquers come in really simple and sleek rectangular lip gloss tubes with shiny reflective caps.
The doe-foot applicator is slightly pointed for a more precise application although I would have preferred a wider, more paddle-like doe-foot for a wider and more even coverage.

Made with safflower oil, jojoba, and sunflower oil, the Pop Oils have a super lightweight gel-oil formulation that spreads easily across the lips. The formulation is quite thin and it's lightly tinted to provide the lips a soft wash of color. These remind me a lot of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil (reviewed here); however, these have a much lighter and non-sticky finish. The oil-based formulation actually absorbs into the lips, providing comfortable, non-greasy hydration. The color lasts about a few hours with minimal eating and drinking.
Although advertised as a hybrid cheek and lip product, I personally wouldn't use the Pop Oil on my cheeks as I find the texture just a bit too heavy and oily for the skin. However, the formulation is just right for the lips!
03 Rose Glow: This looks like a dark wine red in the tube but when swatched, it's actually a very sheer berry pink.
01 Poppy Glow: This a pretty and juicy sheer red. The color bleeds quite a bit so only very little should be applied at a time.

Clinique Pop Lacquer Lip Pop + Primer ($22 CAD):
Unlike the Pop Oils, the Pop Lacquers are full-coverage lip glosses that remind me a lot of the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks (reviewed here). With a much thicker texture, these glosses have an ultra shiny finish. However, I find the texture slightly tacky and as it wears off throughout the day, it leaves the lips feeling a bit dry and tight.
03 Happy Pop: A very bright orange-red, this shade settles quite a bit in the creases of the lips, creating a slightly patchy finish.
04 Sweetie Pop: This is a super bright barbie pink, again, the pigmentation settles in the fine lines of the lips.
06 Love Pop: This is a lovely mauve rose with a subtle sprinkle of micro-shimmers. The coverage of this one is much more even. Also, this color is super flattering, making it great for everyday wear.
