New from
Benefit comes two releases inspired by the beloved Dandelion powder. A soft liquid blush,
Dandelion Dew Soft Baby-Pink Radiance for Cheeks ($36 CAD) pairs nicely with
Dandelion Shy Beam Nude Pink Matte-Radiance Highlighter ($34 CAD), a natural liquid highlighter perfect for the eyes and cheeks. To see my review and swatches of both products, click......

Dandelion Dew Soft Baby-Pink Radiance for Cheeks ($36 CAD):
Housed in a gorgeous and reflective bottle (Benefit always nails it with the packaging), this is a liquid/cream blush that dispenses from a convenient pump dispenser. It's worth mentioning that you are getting 30ml of products, which is quite a lot! Advertised as a soft pink liquid blush, Dandelion Dew has a creamy texture that blends nicely on the skin. Just like the original Dandelion powder, Dandelion Dew has a subtle and alluring scent that I just
love!

Dandelion Dew Soft Baby-Pink Radiance for Cheeks |
The blush is a matte baby pink that gives a really natural flush to the cheeks. The pigmentation is buildable but I think the color is definitely more suitable for those with pale to light skin. The creamy texture is easy to blend but I do find the formulation slightly clingy, accentuating fine lines and dryness. So it's probably best to pair this with a more cushiony, smoothing foundation.

The blended swatch below is a very heavy application. Unless you use a lot of the blush, you will likely get a much softer hue. The wear is okay, there was some noticeable fading by the end of the day.

Dandelion Shy Beam Nude Pink Matte-Radiance Highlighter ($34 CAD):
A new addition to the Benefit's ever-growing "tint" & "beam" family, Shy Beam is a liquid matte highlighter. Housed in a 10ml bottle with a small brush applicator on the underside of the cap, Shy Beam makes the perfect natural highlight for anyone who's not a fan of heavy shimmers or sparkles.

The formulation of the Shy Beam is actually quite thick but it applies and blends beautifully. The light pink ivory provides a really lovely brightening and subtly concealing effect, making the Shy Beam very similar to the popular (but much more expensive) YSL Touche Eclat. In fact, I actually enjoy using this not only on my brow bone but also under my eyes and over my lids to camouflage the looks of fatigue and discoloration.
