Lid Pop Eyeshadows ($20 CAD each) for Spring 2015. Packaged in the same cute "pop" design, the Lip Pops promise a silky formulation with a burst of color. To see some swatches, click.......

Packaging:
Just like the beloved Cheek Pop Blushes, the Clinique Lid Pops come in a clear acrylic compact. Pressed with an intricate and absolutely beautiful daisy pattern, the shadows are 2 grams each, which are slightly smaller than the Cheek Pops, which are 3.5 grams each.

Formulation:
Because the original Cheek Pop blushes had a baked finish that swatched quite sheer, I expected the Lid Pops to be rather sheer as well. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the soft and pigmented formulation of most of these shades. With that said, the texture isn't as buttery as I would have hoped, so the Lip Pops are best paired with a good and tacky primer.
02 Cream Pop: This is a beautiful soft peach-beige shimmer. The pigmentation is really nice, making it a great everyday neutral color.
03 Cocoa Pop: A satin medium brown, Cocoa Pop has a really smooth and rich texture; the pigmentation is great as well.
05 Willow Pop: This is a metallic rusty gold. In terms of formulation, this is the creamiest and the most pigmented out of the bunch.
08 Petal Pop: A light pink with a subtle cool gold sheen, Petal Pop is a soft shade but the formulation is very pigmented and smooth.
11 Surf Pop: Definitely the sheerest out of the bunch, Surf Pop a pretty royal blue with light blue sparkles. Unfortunately, though, the beautiful deep coloration in the pan just doesn't translate nicely when swatched.
