For 2016, Formula X is debuting an exciting 12-month project called the #ColorCurators Collection. For every month of the year, the brand will collaborate with a special style or beauty influencer to release a three-polish collection. Today I have the polishes from the January (Aimee Song from Song of Style), February (Patrick Starrr), and March (Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere) series to share with you. January Collection with Amiee Song from Song of Style
Mintfluencer: This is a very pale mint cream. The formulation is slightly streaky and thick but the application turned out okay. I used two coats for the swatches below and there is still some slight unevenness.

Mintfluencer, two coats with no top coat. |
Girl's Best Friend: A fresh pastel pink, Girl's Best Friend has a formulation very similar to that of Mintfluencer. It's slightly streaky and thick, not the best pale pink I've worked with. I used two thick coats for the swatches below.

Nude For You: A pale beige nude, Nude for You is surprisingly pigmented. The formulation is also not too thick, making it very easy to work with. I used two thin coats for the swatches below.

Yazzz: A lovely medium pink, Yazzz is moderately pigmented but the formulation is super even and self-leveling. I used two coats for the swatches below.

She Better Werk: This is a soft warm baby pink. The formulation is not great as the the polish is slightly thick and streaky. I used two thick coats for the swatches below.

Lucky Starrr: Hands down my favorite out of the nine, Lucky Starrr is a super gorgeous bright pink, silver, and orange-gold shimmers. The formulation is very opaque, two coats for a fabulous coverage.

Peach Tea: This is a soft pastel orange. The formulation is not too bad for such a light shade. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Peach Tea, two coats with no top coat. |
Haute Sauce: Another favorite from the collection, Haute Sauce is a stunning orange-red jelly. The formulation is absolutely a dream to work with. You can actually get away with one coat since the coverage is so even and smooth.
|
Haute Sauce, one to two coats with no top coat. |
Latte Run: A milky mauve nude, Latte Run is not an easy polish to work with. I found the formulation to be streaky, thick, and very difficult to apply. I used three coats for the swatches below.
