Yves Saint Laurent celebrates the holidays this year with the beautiful Kiss & Love Collection. Featuring some best-sellers from the brand, the limited edition range is adorned with whimsical red lips embossings that contrast wonderfully with the classic shiny gold packaging. Packaging:
The original YSL Touche Eclat comes in a beautiful, shiny gold pen with the Yves Saint Laurent logo embossed across the body and etched on the top of the cap. The product dispenses from a brush applicator with a click of the button (located at the tip of the pen). For the Kiss & Love Edition, the body of the pen is covered entirely in lacquered red lips motifs. YSL makeup packaging is usually very luxurious and regal so I'm really loving a more fun take on the classic.
Formulation:
The Touche Eclat is what I would call a liquid highlighter; however, the majority of the shades (with the exception of the limited edition Rose Gold shade) are shimmer-less and sparkle-free. With a semi-sheer coverage, the product blends effortlessly, immediately brightening and highlighting the skin. I use it right under my brow bones and on my inner corners; however, Touche Eclat can also be used under the eyes, around the nose and lips, along the cheek bones, around the smile lines, or pretty much anywhere on the face that could use a little wake-me-up.

I've tried more than a handful of similar products over the years but I feel like the Touche Eclat's formulation is simply the best; it's smooth and creamy, yet it dries to an almost invisible finish. There are quite a few shades available to choose from so you can definitely find one that compliments your skin shade and undertone. Also, if you are thinking of gifting a luxe beauty present for Christmas this year, the Kiss & Love Edition is beyond perfect!

YSL is available online and in stores at Sephora, The Bay, Nordstrom, and Holt Renfrew.
