Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquified Lipsticks: Review and Swatches

Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks

Packaging:
The liquid lipsticks come in a squeezable tube that holds a generous 12ml of product. The tip of the tube is a large doe-foot applicator with tiny holes that allow the product to dispense when the tube is squeezed. The doe-foot is fairly precise but with the darker shades I still like to apply them using a lip brush.

Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks

Formulation:
The new Melted Chocolates come in two different finishes, the original cream Liquified Lipsticks and the new metallic variation. The cream finishes have a very creamy, opaque, and non-sticky finish with a natural sheen. They are liquid lipsticks that don't set completely so they are prone to transferring and smudging.
The metallic Chocolates, on the hand, are very sheer, much like shimmery lip glosses. The three shades are mostly sparkles without a lot of base color. The wear is pretty average, three to four hours with minimal eating or drinking.
All the shades have a very sweet and yummy chocolate icing scent. Overall, I like the cream formulations; they are high-maintence as they are not smudge-proof but the pigmentation is great. The metallics (or rather shimmers), on the other hand, are kind of disappointing as they are incredibly sheer and look quite similar to each other.

Chocolate Milkshake: This is a soft peachy brown; the formulation is very pigmented and smooth.
Chocolate Honey: A caramel brown, Chocolate Honey is also very rich and pigmented.
Chocolate Cherries: This is a very deep chocolate brown with a slight reddish tint. The formulation is very pigmented, but there is a tad bit of patchiness.

Metallic Chocolate Diamond: A sheer soft nude gloss, Metallic Chocolate Diamond is packed with champagne-colored shimmers. The formulation is not at all gritty.
Metallic Candy Bar: This is a beige brown sheer nude sprinkled with soft golden shimmers.
Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate: This one is a cream-colored brown with lots of champagne shimmers. The formulation is also very sheer.
