Packaging:
The limited edition Burberry Kisses Gloss comes in a beautiful rectangular lip gloss tube. The shiny gold cap is embossed with the iconic Burberry tartan design. The Eye Color Cream comes in a clear square jar with a matching shiny gold cap. Both items feel very luxurious and festive.
Formulation:
The Burberry Kisses Gloss has a lightweight, slick, and gel-like texture, not at all tacky or uncomfortable. "No.102 Festive Gold is a clear gloss filled very sparsely with micro golden shimmers. I personally would have preferred a more sparkly formulation but this one still pairs nicely with a bright, festive lip color. Also, the glitters are very smooth, not at all gritty.
The "No.102 Festive Gold" is a very sheer gold cream shadow with a slightly greige tint. The sparkles are very shiny, smooth, and creamy. The formulation is intriguingly soft and bouncy yet it applies like a moist gel. With that said, I was hoping for a really bold and pigmented gold for the holidays and this shade just felt a little dull.
